Dick Cheney is a pig.
Dick Cheney, US vice-president, has endorsed the use of “water boarding” for terror suspects and confirmed that the controversial interrogation technique was used on Khaled Sheikh Mohammed, the senior al-Qaeda operative now being held at Guantánamo Bay.
He calls it a “no-brainer” — which it is, but not in the way he probably meant it. And how’s this for a walking contradiction?
“For a while there, I was criticised as being the ‘vice-president for torture’,” Mr Cheney added. “We don’t torture . . . We live up to our obligations in international treaties that we’re party to and so forth.”
What an absolute load of shit.
Gods, I wish this man would fall on his sword once and for all. He’s simply evil. He’s much, much more dangeous than Bush, who wants to be evil but is far too stupid and incompetent to even begin to aspire to the heights of infamy that Cheney regularly exceeds. He’s so immersed in evil that he can’t even recognize how outrageously obscenely evil he is.
Of course, this is also a man who shoots his friends in the face and doesn’t appear to care, so what could we really expect?
