All you have to do is visit discoverboating.com -- as stated rather plainly in the commercial itself -- to "find" the ad. No googling is required whatsoever.

Re sense of humor -- Got plenty of it. What I've never particularly appreciated, though, is decadence. But it takes subtlety, intelligence and awareness to recognize the distinction.

Maybe you can google for more information on that as well.

I came across your post when I googled "dogs need weekends too." I thought the ad was great, and it did its job, as it got me looking for more. But, I take you aren't an animal lover or boating lover are you? Yes, there are starving and homeless people out there and people dying overseas. Does that mean we cannot have a sense of humor related to animals or advertisements? Well, off I go to find that ad so I can forward it to all my friends!

I agree with Lauren. You're a little hyper-sensitive. The commercial was a joke. It's funny and appealing because it's silly to think that a dog would need a weekend.

I don't, which is too bad because it's so syrupy and inane. I can think of all sorts of ways I could use it.
