I for­got that I entered some of the hospital’s ads into a cou­ple of design com­pe­ti­tions for 2006. Healthcare Marketing Report handed out a Merit Award — basi­cally a thanks for par­tic­i­pat­ing — but Aster awarded me a sil­ver, which ain’t too crappy.

Both were for the same ad, oddly enough, a 6×5 news­pa­per piece in sup­port of a spe­cial pro­gram put on by our Hospice group, Getting Through the Holidays. The ad fol­lows the flip.

I liked that one, but I sent in this one too. I wasn’t sure which one I liked more.
