One of our better known physicians is also incredibly busy, and commensurately difficult to nail down for a photograph. I went into cahoots with our cath lab supervisor and was able to grab him for about 90 seconds. Shot 12 frames. The best of the lot is below the fold.

I love the way the light seems to form a halo, and how pretty much all the color shades are complimentary. They warm the entire photo, and underscore the expression on his face of benevolence and competence.
Some days it all just plain comes together.

Oh, and for what it’s worth, he was less than five minutes out of heart surgery when I took that picture, and due to zip off to another procedure just a few minutes later. It doesn’t show at all, does it? He’s just that good at what he does.
FWIW, that image is almost straight off the chip with no exposure or color compensation. I guess I’m OK too, in my own way, though it’s hard to go wrong with that Nikon D50.
